Hundreds March Through Hebron on Palestinian Prisoners Day

Hundreds of protesters marched through Hebron on April 17, as Palestinians marked Prisoners Day, in support of the over 6,000 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.Demonstrations took place across the West Bank, including in Ramallah, Bethlehem and, as this video shows, Hebron.The same day, over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails launched a hunger strike, led by Palestinian leader and parliamentarian Marwan Barghouti, who penned a New York Times op-ed on the demands for better conditions.
