According to Reuters, Dmitry Kiselyov, described as “the top pro-Kremlin presenter,” said on his show 'Vesti Nedeli' Sunday, “The world is a hair's breadth from nuclear war. War can break out as a result of confrontation between two personalities; Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. Both are dangerous, but who is more dangerous? Trump is.”
The news outlet also quotes him as criticizing both men for having, in his words, “limited international experience, unpredictability, and a readiness to go to war.”
Meanwhile, Bloomberg adds that Kiselyov told his audience that “Trump is more impulsive and unpredictable than Kim Jong-un.”
Kiselyov also "went after Trump’s family, noting that Kim hadn’t given his four-year-old daughter an office in his residence, in contrast to Trump’s appointment of his 35-year-old daughter, Ivanka, to a White House role," according to Bloomberg.
While Kiselyov’s comments can often be an indication of the Kremlin’s shifting views, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian government, would not confirm its backing in this case.
