Officials recently announced the new project -- called Block 23 -- which will include a Fry's Food Store, apartments, office space, retail, restaurants and more. The development sits near Washington and 1st streets, blocks away from Chase Field, CityScape, Talking Stick Resort and downtown's historic neighborhoods.
