DreamWork’s ‘Boss Baby’ took the number one spot at the box office this weekend, taking out Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’s’ three week place. The animated baby movie raised $49 million its opening weekend, while the live action fantasy came close at $48 million. ‘Boss Baby’ took DreamWorks Animation over $100 million to make, and was expected to debut at $30 million. Overall, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ still towers over other movies released this year, with $395.5 million in domestic sales.
