Toad shoots out tongue to catch prey

A cool video has emerged of a toad shooting its tongue to catch prey.

The footage, shot in August last year in southern Russia, shows the amphibian extending its tongue to catch food in the grass.

"Toad are unmatched in their speed and ability to catch prey," the filmer wrote online.
