DISC 4: St Simon Stock: In 12th Century England, a young hermit named Simon Stock, so called because he lived prayerfully in the hollow of a tree, took a journey, guided by our Lady, into the newly formed Carmelite Order. Our Lady favoured Saint Simon with a beautiful vision in which she gave the Church the brown scapular. Many popes and saints have recommended this devotion. In this film we travel prayerfully with saint Simon through Aylesford in Kent and even to the Holy Land including his vision of Our Lady and the gift of the Scapular.
