Several tourists and a BBC film crew were caught up in a blast at Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy.
surrounded by steam and with hot rocks falling around them, the group managed to spring to a nearby rescue vehicle which took them to safety.
Ten were injured in the incident but none of the injuries were serious according to local media reports.
