AT&T outage blocks 911 calls

AT&T customers across the U.S. were not able to call 911 on Wednesday night. A spokesperson for AT&T stated that the company was experiencing a service issue that blocked wireless customer’s calls to 911. The outage was brief, but the Federal Communications Commission is investigating the issue that effected major cities such as Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, and New York City.
