Spotify is launching a new lossless audio version of its streaming services called Spotify Hi-Fi. The lossless version will offer CD-quality audio that takes up less space for users. Spotify is offering Hi-Fi services for $5 to $10 a month, above the $10 for Spotify Premium. With smartphones switching to lossless services like Apple’s Lightning connector and Android’s USB-C, Spotify will do the same with the Hi-Fi.
