Excited dog wipes out kid playing in garden

An amusing video has emerged of a dog smashing into a child as he tries to catch a ball.

The footage, shot last year at a home in Pennsylvania, USA, shows Dempsey, a Plott Hound - Boxer mix, rushing after a ball before he hits the little boy.
