Sixers Rookie Ben Simmons has to delay NBA debut

Winner of 76ers summer draft, Australian rookie Ben Simmons is out for the rest of the basketball season. He sustained a broken foot back in October 2016 that still has not healed fully. Jerry Colangelo, the Sixers special adviser, wants Simmons to avoid fracturing his foot. But Colangelo looks forward to having Simmons ready by the summer of 2017. "We're gonna talk about putting him in a summer league situation where he can get some game experience."
