REFERENCES: Similar to the jackalope this mash up at several creatures is said to inhabit the state of Bavaria in southeast Germany. Said to have the body and head of a hare, antlers similar to a deer, wings of a pheasant, and also fangs. The wolpertinger has been reported since at least the 1600s and it is said to be venomous and also it is interested in mating with human females.
