Ben and Rhonda met on a blind date in 1980. Ben didn’t know this before the date but Rhonda was actually blind—had never seen a day in her life. They hit it off and ended up marrying just a few years later. Twenty years later Ben is diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease and over the course of just a few months becomes completely blind.
