Lava Firehose Pours Into Pacific Ocean

John Tarson from Epic Lava Tours captured this dramatic footage showing a “firehose” of lava flowing from Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano into the ocean on Tuesday, February 7. The flow of lava has been pouring in at this point since December 31.The video also captures littoral explosions as the super-hot lava makes contact with the cold sea water at the Kamokuna lava tube.
