Having Biblical Knowledge But Yet Blinded by Satan
  • 7 years ago
In this message, Apostle Reginald M. Graham teaches us that all of the knowledge of both the world and the Bible is not enough to get us into the kingdom of Heaven. Although it is crucial to know the word of God through the Bible, repentance is the missing key to the puzzle. What good is one's knowledge of the Bible and understanding of the world if you cannot tell someone how to truly get into Heaven? Today, most churches mislead the people by telling them that they can go to Heaven simply by being a good person and performing good deeds. There are even some churches where the preachers do not challenge their members to repent of their sins. Instead, they merely ease the people by telling them, in not so many words, that it is okay to continue living in sin. Such teaching will cause the believers to be cast into hell. In order to make it into Heaven, one must truly repent to God, vow to never sin again, thus giving up their love for the world, and be baptized by both water AND fire. With the advent of technology, the amount of knowledge that occupies the world has expanded and made people know more in the last 100 or so years than in the entire history of mankind. Prior to Apostle Peter's transformation, he was filled with fear, doubt, and a lack of faith as seen when he sunk into the water when Jesus allowed him to walk on it as well as his denying of Jesus three times before the rooster crowed. He truly loved God and believed that he would not deny Jesus after the latter revealed that he would indeed. Subsequently following the death of Jesus, Peter repented, as did the rest of the disciples, and became filled with the Holy Spirit. This made him a courageous man who had no shame of admitting his knowledge of Jesus Christ and the word of God, which he strongly defended ever since.
