Velomobiles are great, but they're really missing a blinking red tail light to be properly identified as bicycles. Many people add a separate bicycle light to the tail of their velo, but here's something cleaner: you can simply connect an automotive blinker relay module across the brake light switch to make the brake light itself blink when not braking.

The relay should be installed cleanly and out of the way, with a switch to enable/disable the blinking. The video simply shows how it should work, and how simple it is to do.

Note that you'll want an *electronic* blinker relay, not a real relay - otherwise it'll use a lot of battery and go click-click-click constantly. Also, you'll want a blinker relay designed for ordinary bulbs, not LEDs: with a normal relay, the load of the LEDs is too low and the relay "hyperflashes" - i.e. flashes too fast - which, unlike a turn signal indicator application, is exactly what you want here.
