At a recent press conference, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said that he doesn’t know Donald Trump but called people who make up false stories about him like the ones in the recently leaked but unsubstantiated dossier are “worse than prostitutes.”

Vladimir Putin has said that people who make up false stories about Donald Trump are, in his words, “worse than prostitutes.”
CBS News reports that Russia’s president made the comment on Tuesday at a news conference where he dismissed a dossier that contained damaging but unsubstantiated allegations about Trump.
According to Sputnik News, Putin said, “Prostitution is an ugly social phenomenon…But people who order such fakes which are now used against the elected president of the United States, fabricate information and use it in the political struggle, they are worse than prostitutes, they have no moral limits.”
He also reportedly dismissed tracking by Russian intelligence officials at the time, stating, “When Trump came to Moscow he was not a political figure, he was just a businessmen, one of the rich people of America. Do they think our special services follow every American billionaire?”
However, Putin denied having a close relationship with the businessman, saying, “I don't know Mr. Trump, I have never met him, I don't know what he will do in the international arena, so I have no reason either to attack him, criticize him or defend him.”
Meanwhile, Trump has dismissed the claims made in the dossier, tweeting that the information about him is “FAKE NEWS - A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!”
