China is preparing for a round of space wars by vowing to land on the dark side of the moon by 2018 and reach Mars by 2020. The country's space agency released its policy report, indicating the nation's ambitious goals for space exploration. Wu Yanhua, deputy chief of the National Space Administration, noted that China plans to launch its first mission to Mars around 2020. Bejing plans for a second mission to Mars to collect surface samples from the red planet shortly following the exploration in 2020.
