Footage has emerged from China of a man in a Monkey King costume hanging on the outside of a coach.

The video, filmed in Wuhu, Anhui Province on November 26, shows the large puppet of one of the country's most famous literary characters attached to the vehicle by one of its arms.

According to local reports, it was actually a marketing stunt organised by a local shopping mall which is opening soon.

Unfortunately, police stopped the coach and "penalised" the driver.
