Pete Carroll, Richard Sherman meet over sideline spat

The Seahawks' 24-3 victory over their NFC West foe Rams was overshadowed by sideline spat between cornerback Richard Sherman and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. The spat occurred when Sherman took issue with a goal line pass play call by Bevell when Seattle was down on the Rams' 1-yard line. I'm upset about us throwing from the 1. I'd rather do what most teams would do, making a conscientious decision to run the ball. I was letting [Carroll] know. We've already seen how that goes. On Friday, head coach Pete Carroll told 710 ESPN that he spoke with his star player about the situation. I just spent an hour with him, and we've been through it. We made it through it. He knows that wasn't right. He's just so fiery, and we've seen him before. It was too bad. It was a distraction to the game. And that's not the way it's supposed to go.
