Facebook is finally taking action against fake news

Facebook is going to start fact-checking, labeling, and burying fake news and hoaxes in the News Feed, the company announced on Thursday. "It's important to us that the stories you see on Facebook are authentic and meaningful," a company blog post read. Facebook is working with four news organizations/fact-checking groups — ABC News, Politifact, FactCheck and Snopes — which have agreed to vet potentially fake stories that Facebook sends them and publish their findings.
