Rob Gronkowski will have back surgery on Friday, out indefinitely

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is scheduled to have surgery on his back on Friday and is expected to be out eight weeks. Initial reports on Gronkwski seemed to be that the injury was not serious but it was revealed that he ruptured a disc in the Patriots game against the Seattle Seahawks. Gronkowski has had surgery to repair injuries before, most notably on his arm, ACL, and ankle. The Patriots are 9-2 this season, including a 3-0 record when Gronkowski hasn't played.
