Donald Trump praised Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telling him he was willing to play "any role" to address Pakistan's problems, according to a government statement. Pakistan's Press Information Department posted a summary of the conversation between the two leaders, quoting Trump calling Sharif a "terrific guy" who is doing "amazing work." "Your country is amazing with tremendous opportunities. Pakistanis are one of the most intelligent people," Trump said, according to the press release. Trump reportedly said he would like to visit the country, which hasn't been on the itinerary of a U.S. president for the last decade.
