Marvel's "Doctor Strange" debuted with an $85 million opening at more than 3,000 theaters.
The hit sci-fi film earned $32.6 million alone on Friday.
The movie follows doctor Stephen Strange who injures his hands in a car accident and gains mystical powers amid healing.
