Ingredients 1 cup of sugar ½ cup of water ½ tsp of green cardamom powder few saffron strands 2kg ghee 2 cups of besan yellow food colour few seeds of char magaz half cup of pistachios
Method Melt the sugar by adding 1 cup of sugar and ½ cup of water. Add green cardamom powder and few saffron strands. Once it boils, keep it aside. In a bowl add besan,yellow food colour and water and mix it all well, make sure there are no lumps. Heat ghee and then using the vessel pour the batter in it. Fry for a minute or two, or until they are golden in colour. Roast the char magaz seeds and add them to the syrup, pistachios and boondi. Mix well and cover it and let it rest Take handful of a mixture and roll it into a nice round ball Motichoor laddu is ready
