"When Gofrette inadvertently exchanges a box with Ellie's cuckoo clock in it with a box with some garbage in it, Ellie is very upset. Hamlet is sure there's a thief at work and Gofrette and Fudge set out to catch the sneaky cuckoo clock thief. Meanwhile, poor Wendell has a box with Ellie's missing cuckoo clock and thinks everyone will assume he's the cuckoo clock thief. With Hamlet chasing everyone, cuckoo chaos ensues"
