Navratri is a nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. Navratri literally means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit representing the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga- Shailputri, Brahmcharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri.
