He was brought up by his step father Abdur Razzak. He was from very poor family. He studied in his village school up to class VII. He started to work for supporting his family by leaving his study while he was in class VII. He did not manage to attend in any school. He used to sell CD. He got handsome income by doing cable network business in his local area.
In the entertainment industry Alom already made his own trend. His music videos give amusements to large group of people. For making video he chooses only young good looking girls as actress. He usually select the girls from local area.
