Cole is a 12 year old guitarist with diverse musical interests. Grounded in blues, Cole’s music is also influenced by rock, folk, classical, and metal. Cole started playing the guitar at the age of 8 inspired by his parents’ album collection. As the only musician in the family, Cole’s passion for music was self-fueled. Cole has been fortunate to have had two outstanding teachers: Byron Fry and Mike Curran. He first played live at the age of 10 and has rapidly grown as a musician. Cole was recently featured on both Yahoo! and YouTube.
Cole is one of six winners on Cartoon Network's talent search called "Props". He played with Jonny Lang live at The Fillmore on June 30, 2007. TV show aired September 1st and 2nd.
Cole lives in the mountains of California. He is an honor student and enjoys playing baseball and basketball.
