Booma the founder guitarist of the band Boomarang has been known as a player with exquisite taste, evitable talent and almost pathological attention to detail in all elements of his equipment. He won the
title of “The Best North East Guitarist” at the age of 17 and has never looked back since.The fruits of this introspection are a man who seems to be really enjoying his playing. Whether it is a teasing finger twisted chord in a smoky jazz bar, clawing out some gut wrenching blues lines or simply crashing out huge chords in front of
thousands of screaming crowd, he always found a suitable home in their hearts as he is a guitar player and a musician who plays not at the audience but for the audience.He had also recorded tons of guitar lines for almost all the top rated Mizo Artists and recently Boomarang’s song called “Home”, was used as the background
soundtrack for the famous Bollywood Indie Movie called “Zombie”& he also was a part of the Artist’s collaboration in making the music theme for North East Football Club for the Indian Football League.With his band Boomarang signed to Universal Records last year, they
did a whole 360-degree Tour of all the Hard Rock Cafes in India promoting their debut album called “Home”, where a song from the album called “Stellar” peaked,reached & made a record to be the only Indian Band ever to have made it Number 5 on VH1 Charts. He also has a signature line of guitar amplifiers under Theta Audio Nine Power Amplification.
