Forecasters issued a flash flood warning for south-central Boulder County until midnight on August 30, warning of heavy rain and flash flooding of creeks and streams. One postal worker, Shannon Fager, got stuck in a flooded area of Colorado Springs. She described it as being “like sitting in a river,” according to local news reports.
