The Village of Cadaques - Costa Brava, Spain
  • 9 years ago
In this episode, David takes viewers around one of the most beautiful and romantic towns in Costa Brava, Cadaques. Situated along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Cadaques is a great day trip town from Girona. There isn’t much to keep you in Cadaques for more than a few hours, but it’s a pleasant stop nevertheless.

One of things you will notice about Cadaques is its white-washed houses, terracotta roofs, and gorgeous ocean views. If it seems familiar, it’s because it resembles Greek island architecture.

Cadaques is famous for being the place where prolific surrealist artist Salvador Dalí spent his childhood summers. Later on in his life he moved to the nearby fishing village of Portlligat. It is possible to visit the Salvador Dalí Museum House.

While in Cadaques you could stop at a local restaurant for some fresh seafood like David did!
