DVB's David Stout interviews Aung Naing Oo, deputy head of the Thailand based think-tank Vahu Development Institute. Aung Naing Oo is also on the independent commission tasked with investigated the sectarian violence in Arakan state.

He compares the crisis in Arakan state between the Muslim Rohingya and Buddhist Arakanese to what happened in Yugolsavia in the 1990's. He says the most important thing now is to try to get people form both sides to meet and talk. He also discusses the commission's work into investigating the violence in the state.
