The Seattle Seahawks are on the road in week one of the preseason as they meet the Kansas City Chiefs in an NFL pro football game on tap for Saturday.

Start Time: 4:30PM ET

Location: Kansas City

TV: NFL Network Live

NFL Point Spread Odds: Kansas City -3

Money Line: Chiefs -150 odds and Seahawks +130 odds

Over Under Total: 35 ½ points

Notes: The Seahawks were the second place team in the NFC West last year and earned a wildcard win in the playoffs at Minnesota. They got eliminated at Carolina the following week in the divisional round. They had the top scoring defense in the league but threw for 236 yards per game ranking 20th in the league as they lost Jimmy Graham in the second half of the year to injury. Russell Wilson returns under center and will see limited work in the opener. There is not much experience behind him. Jake Heaps is in his second year after spending one year with the Jets. TCU standout Trevone Boykin is a rookie and will most likely be the backup to Wilson.

Kansas City was an 11 win team last year and a wildcard entrant in the playoffs. This despite the 30th ranked passing offense in the NFL. Alex Smith is the starter and could see a series or two. Veteran Nick Foles is the backup and has experience starting 35 games in his four years in the league. Former Tennessee signal caller Tyler Bray enters his fourth year with the team and has not played in a regular season game. Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is in his third year looking to make the roster as is with rookie Kevin Hogan from Stanford.
