A close encounter with a giant centipede

Footage, filmed on July 15, of two people having a close encounter with a giant centipede in their garden in the mountains of Rarotonga, Cook Islands.

"Giant centipedes live all over our property in the mountains of Rarotonga," the filmer later wrote online.

"They are nocturnal and typically keep to themselves, but every once in a while we have a run-in with one, as is seen here."
