ADNAN OKTAR: Look,the government should fulfill my request as soon as possible. I don't know if our army has any land-to-air anti-aircraft guns. If they don't, we should purchase them. They should acquire them. God forbid, if this is not possible either, standard anti-aircraft guns should be settled in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and other places. The Mechanical and Chemical Industry should produce these guns around the clock, but it is highly unlikely that we don't have land-to-air missiles.

What they did was unimaginably psychopathic. Could they do it if the police were armed with anti-tank weapons? Anti-tank weapons should be distributed to the police.  This should be done immediately and the government should issue a statement after that. The police should be provided with anti-tank weapons. This is unacceptable. Let's see if they will be able to do the same then. Otherwise, our people’s and the government’s hands will be tied in a similar attempt that might occur in the future. This is my personal opinion. It is easy to produce anti-tank weapons. The Mechanical and Chemical Industry can easily manufacture it. And we should be informed that the weapons have been given to the police. I am referring to anti-aircraft weapons as well.

I do not have extensive knowledge on this subject; don’t we have land-to-air anti-aircraft missiles? Look into it. If the army has them, they should distribute it. We should have them ready in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir; in every city. Standard anti-aircraft weapons should also be used. They can build platforms upon the police stations on which anti-aircraft can be installed. There is no harm in that. Moreover, these anti-aircraft weapons will be an effective deterrent against any attacks towards those police stations. It would be extremely deterrent. Because the police can only respond with handguns. What would the terrorists do when they realize the police will use anti-aircraft weapons in response to any attack? They would be downright scared because both the anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns have a more powerful impact. These weapons should be made available to the police as well. I have said it many times and I am expecting a response. And I will continue to say so.
