A Limpkin was found sitting on its belly at Royal Palm Park on 4/19/16, we took it to the South Florida Wildlife Center and one of the staff members at the South Florida Wildlife Center said the Limpkin might have botulism, a natural occurring deadly disease, botulism are deadly bacteria that lives in water ways, so an Apple Snail, the Limpkin's favorite food, might have had botulism in the snail and that will have, very sadly, affected the Limpkin as well.
