CLEVELAND — At the championship parade for the Cavaliers title victory, a fan got so caught up in the celebration that he willingly ate a mouthful of horse manure.
More than 1.3 million people are reported to have attended the event, one that has eluded the city of Cleveland and its sports fans for 52 years. As LeBron James and his Cavs teammates drove through the downtown city streets in a motorcade, fans chased behind to breathe in the glory.
Video has begun circulating of a fan, likely intoxicated, running over to a pile of horse manure and picking it up. When his friends drag him forward to continue on along the parade route, the hulking man runs back to the pile of manure and throws a handful in his mouth, to the delight and disgust of the nearby crowd.
