Footage of a large peacock opening up its feathers to attract female peahens to mate in a residential complex at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India on June 16.
According to the filmer, "the sprawling Alimco complex has become home to around 100 peacocks and peahens who roam about freely in the locality.
"The peacocks mate mainly in the period April to September," he continued.
"In this video, the male peacock shows its feathers to female peahens and manages to attract a few of them too."
