The Sharks finally outshot the Penguins as they had 24 and allowed 20 shots. But has been in the case in each of the first four games San Jose allowed the first goal of the game. Pittsburgh made sure there would be no overtime as Eric Fehr found the net with just over two minutes remaining. Penguins goalie Matthew Murray turned away 23 of 24 shots on net. His record is now 14-3 as a rookie in the playoffs with a goal against average of 2.09. The 22 year old goalie was a third round pick of the Penguins in 2012.
