Robot plays badminton with student in China

Amazing footage has emerged from a Chinese university of a robot that can play badminton.

The video, captured in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on April 26, shows the robot repeatedly hitting the shuttlecock back to a student on the court.

According to local reports, the robot called Robomintoner was developed by university students.

It has even played badminton with the Chinese premier Li Keqiang and the game ended in a draw.
