A video, filmed yesterday, has emerged from Russia of a realistic model of the City Scanner drone from the legendary game Half-Life 2 flying through the city streets of Saratov.

The life-sized model was created by a local man called Valentin Demchenko. It took him two months to build the City Scanner drone copy from the first-person shooter Half-Life 2.

In the computer game, the City Scanner is a lightly armored, flying security camera used to monitor a city's residence.

According to the filmer, "the creator of a working City Scanner used AX-2810Q-750KV Brushless Quadcopter motors to get it up in the air, a DJI Naza-M Lite as a flight controller."
