I think Sonic is a better suit for Pinkie Pie because they're both the most free-spirited, hyperactive and carefree characters in their respective shows.
Besides, I thought it would be interesting to have Sonic with a cute girly voice.
Last year, Rouge was Pinkie Pie in my parodies, but after a bunch of reconsidering, Sonic will be Pinkie from now on.
If you're a Pinkie Pie fan/brony like me, but also hate/dislike Amy, odds are, you'll love this music video.
