Disability, be it physical or mental, has been largely misunderstood by many. While some fail to understand the condition, others might be insensitive to it. A society might get struck by a serious loss of talent, intellect and progress if it starts to believe that disability is a curse.
This time Mera Passion Pakistan brings to you the story of Muhammad Qamar Nizami, who apart from being bound to the wheelchair has an optimistic vision of life. Nizami has a firm belief in his abilities, and considers the concept of disability as just a state of mind. His spirit and courage have no limitations, as he is leading an adequate lifestyle.
Pakistan is a land of such passionate and talented people who despite of their weaknesses are working to build up their lives and country. We just need to break the stereotype and a biased opinion in the society that people with disabilities are a liability; instead they are working hard for the better and brighter image of life. So, if you think that Pakistan is not a domain of opportunities and equality; try to create some for yourself and the nation, as these Differently Abled ones are doing!
