Members of the Algerian Civil Defense in Oran province arrived to rescue a cat stuck up a lamp post recently, but the cat had other ideas. One of civil defense team climbed a ladder to reach the cat, but the feline, an adept high-wire artist as it turned out, simply skipped from the lamp post and onto a power cable.Spectators gasped at one near fall before the cat eventually dropped from the cable, its fall broken by a sheet carried by the civil defense members.
