Fireworks factory fire in Southampton

Footage has emerged of a fire at a firework factory in Southampton, UK on Friday.

The video, captured by a passing motorist, shows fireworks shooting out from the building, while a large plume of smoke rises overhead.

According to local reports, the fire began at around 05:05 BST, with the cause unclear.

More than 70 firefighters were at the fireworks factory, Hampshire Fire and Rescue service said. No-one was thought to have been in the building.
