Huge sinkhole opens on road after water main breaks

Dramatic footage has emerged of a flooded sinkhole in Springfield, MA, USA.

The video, shot across Wednesday and Thursday, shows a huge sinkhole at a crossroads after a water main broke.

Brown water can be seen flooding a large area around the sinkhole and preventing pedestrians from crossing the roads.

According to reports, the water was turned back on by Thursday morning but electricity in the nearby buildings was still not available.
