Trump's motorcade had to pull over on the side of the road next to the hotel where the front-runner was set to speak to a group of Republicans. About 300 people gathered outside the state Republican convention in Burlingame, south of San Francisco. Protesters, who held signs and Mexican flags at one point rushed security gates and police officers had their batons out.
