Hashoo Foundation with support of Centre for Culture and Development, Embassy of Denmark has initiated a project “Harnessing Indigenous Cultures for Economic Empowerment of Artisans and Sectarian Harmony” in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral (GBC).
Purpose of the project is to help reduce poverty and marginalization of artisans and craftsmen/women by introducing them to means, skills and resources, which would help organize them both socially and economically. Hence why, several cultural festivals have been organized in the selected localities.
