An amusing video has emerged from Ireland of a group of children converging on a dropped piñata and proceeding to duke it out over the contents.

The footage, captured in Cork last week, shows the chaos that ensues when a piñata is dropped onto a party of sugar-hungry youngsters.

"We had a Piñata at my nephews party, we dropped it down to them, animals," the filmer wrote online.
